Valentine's Day

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day. I won't get any presents because my husband and I have decided not to celebrate Valentine's Day this year. Last week was Lewis' birthday and our wedding anniversary is at the end of the month. We also celebrate the anniversary of our running away together in March so this is enough celebrating for this piece of the year.

I have been watching the young people at work plan what they will give their valentines and this afternoon when I went to the shopping centre there were people with flowers and balloons everywhere. I have never understood the need for secrecy on Valentine's Day. You are not supposed to know who sent the valentine. I couldn't bear this. If someone fancies me I want to know....mind you if no one fancies me I also choose not to know this....
