Negativity

I know I am a Pollyanna who gets up with an optimisitic smile on her face very day but the negative people in the world are starting to suck the life out of me.

I get on the bus in the morning and look at all the miserable faces. I am sure people are angry with God for letting them live through the night. Then I get to work where it seems that all I get is negatives. Someone puts forward a new idea and the instant response is "that won't work". Well duh!! Of course it won't work if you won't let it..

All around me people are whinging about being too busy. It seems to me that if they used their whinging time to work they might get twice as much done. I like to laugh while I work and have always had jobs where I had fun but now I work with a bunch of humourless people. I have given up having a joke because I always have to explain it....everyone is defensive and has lost the ability to laugh at themselves. Silly me, this is of course because they have never made a mistake so they never have to look in the mirror and say "what a silly I am"...

Just for one day God can we please have fun and stop whinging about being alive. I quite like it!!
